Parma Annual Shelter’s 6th Annual DOGGIE SWIM & COOKOUT, Sunday August 19th 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Chances to win prizes. Join us at Walter’s Grove Swimming Pool. Off State Rd. West on Milford Ave. to W. 44th Street. Doggie swim to be held rain or shine.

Friendly's Family Boo Night to be held Wednesday. October 24th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Children can meet Parma Animal Shelter dogs (weather permitting). Children dressed in costume will receive a special treat.

Parma Animal Shelter’s 3rd Annual NIGHT AT THE RACES, Saturday, September 15th, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. At The American Legion Hall Post 703, 7667 York Rd., Parma between Pleasant Valley & Sprague Rd.

Parma Animal Shelter’s Annual Spaghetti Dinner, Saturday, October 6th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ridgewood United Methodist Church, 6330 Ridge Rd, Parma. Silent auctions will be held throughout the night.

Holiday Bake and Gift Sale, November 11th from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. at the Parma Animal Shelter, 6260 State Road, (Behind the Honey Hut).

Pet Pictures with Santa Paws, Saturday December 1st. Buy a picture with your pet with Santa Claws at PETsMART, 6870 Ridge Rd, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sales benefit the Parma Animal Shelter.

A Few Things to Note When Adopting PAS Pets.....

All members of the family in the household along with their dogs (cats excluded) must interact with our PAS shelter dog before adoption into their new forever home.

We only accept CASH (exact change please) or CHECK, along with your drivers license number. No credit cards, please.

Sponsor A Cage Program

Did you know that you could sponsor a cage for a rescued dog or cat for a three-month period for only $35.00? This is a great way to help your local shelter care for the homeless, abandoned, abused or hungry animals in your community.

All funds will go into our operation budget which helps pay for food, supplies, medication and other health care needs. A sign with your name will hang on the cage that you are sponsoring for the time you have chosen. You will also receive a post card with a cat, kitten, puppy or dog that is currently residing at our shelter.

Please contact the shelter to inquire about an animal that may need this kind of support or you can download a sponsorship form now.

Take a Tour of the Parma Animal Shelter

The Parma Animal Shelter is now taking reservations for tours of our facility.

Come spend time with the homeless dogs and cats and see the daily care that is given to our guests. Our tours are educational and fun and we gladly accept groups of all kinds.

The tours are free, but donations are always welcomed.

The proceeds from in-shelter candy bar sales will benefit the Ozzie Fund for sick and injured animals and will help these animals get prompt medical attention by having funds set aside.
